Multi-resonant Optical Nanocavities by Out-of-plane Magnetic Plasmon Hybridization

Abstract

In vertically-stacked double-cavity metal-insulator-metal nanostructures, the strong optical interaction between magnetic plasmon modes in each of the nanocavities results in new hybridized modes with individually tunable energy levels.
