Experimental Investigation of Cascaded Raman and Intermodal Nonlinear Interaction Based Supercontinuum Generation in Corning®LEAF® Fiber

Abstract

We demonstrate spectral broadening based on cascaded Raman and intermodal nonlinear interaction in Corning®LEAF® fiber pumped by a picosecond laser source. The effect of fiber length and pump power over spectral broadening are also investigated.
