Numerical Computation of Surface Plasmon Polariton Propagation and Dispersion in the Presence of Nonlocality

Abstract

We develop a surface-hydrodynamic numerical model for studying the impact of nonlocality on propagating surface plasmon polaritons in metallic nanostructures, resulting in a larger (~2×) SPP wavelength compared to the local case at plasma resonance.
