Enhanced Scaffold Guided Cellular Motion Using Polarized Light

Abstract

Cellular motion along substrate channels confines the cellular motion linearly. The addition of an optical field linearly polarized parallel to the substrate channel enhances this motion due to optical torques applied to subcellular elements.
