Enhancing THz radiation from two-color laser-induced air-plasma by using abruptly autofocusing beams

Abstract

By using abruptly autofocusing beams, as opposed to the conventional Gaussian beams, to generate plasma in the ambient air, an enhancement of the terahertz radiation from the plasma in the low frequency region is observed.
