Abstract
A rear mirror to reflect band-edge luminescence helped break the world record for solar cell efficiency, 28.8%. It serendipitously reflects all infrared wavelengths, which can revolutionize thermo-photovoltaics. This enables conversion from heat to electricity with >50% efficiency.
