Theoretical Study of the Effect of Quantum Noise on the Nonlinear Dynamics of a Semiconductor Laser Subject to Two Filter Optical Feedbacks

Abstract

We demonstrate that the role of quantum noise in a semiconductor laser subject to two filtered feedbacks is to stabilize the laser dynamics such that stronger feedback levels are necessary for onset of chaos.
