Masking Time-Delay Features in Multimode Vertical-Cavity Surface-Emitting Lasers

Abstract

Polarization resolved time-delay signatures are experimentally studied for a multimode VCSEL subject to double-cavity, polarization-rotated optical feedback. Concealment of time-delay signatures is observed in certain parameter regimes.
