Coherent Control of Light-Matter Interactions Using a Quantum Dot in a Cavity

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

We utilize a quantum dot coupled to a photonic crystal cavity to implement a qubit-in-a-cavity system that operates in the strong coupling regime. We show that this device can apply quantum logic on a photon.
