All-fiberized superfluorescent source with distributed side-coupled cladding-pumped fiber

Abstract

An all-fiberized broadband superfluorescent source based on a distributed side-coupled cladding-pumped Yb-doped fiber is demonstrated. 11.4-W combined output power is obtained with a flat power spectrum. The bandwidth (FWHM) is larger than 30 nm.
