Probing electron correlation on the attosecond time scale

Abstract

The development of ultrashort light pulses in the attosecond range allows scientists to explore the dynamics of electron correlation. In this work, we present experimental measurements and theoretical calculations of single and double ionization time delay in various noble gas using an interferometric method.
