Telomerase Activity Detection through the Combination of SERS Active Nanoprobes and Magnetic Nanobeads

Abstract

We present a novel telomerase detection method using magnetic nanobeads as the capturing substrate and SERS-tagged gold nanoparticles as the reporting nanoprobes. This straightforward method would greatly facilitate the telomerase based cancer theranostics.
