Self-Induced Multi-Resonances in Initially Opaque Plasma

Abstract

An overdense plasma under the action of intense light can switch from full reflection to almost full transmission in a succession of nonlinearly self-induced resonances. This allows for a deeper and more efficient plasma heating.
