High repetition-rate XUV source for ultrafast photoemission

Abstract

We generate individual, narrowband harmonics between 7.9 eV and 22.3 eV at 50-kHz repetition rate, representing an ideal high-flux source for ultrafast photoemission. A surprising splitting of near threshold harmonics in Ar is moreover observed.
