Spectroscopic Properties and Laser Performance in Yb3+, Er3+ Co-Doped Calcium Aluminosilicate Glasses

Abstract

The spectroscopic properties and laser performance in Yb3+, Er3+ co-doped calcium aluminosilicate glasses were investigated. With increasing the silica content, the upconversion emission decreases, enhances the 1.5 μm emission and improve the laser performance.
