Abstract

We have developed a colloidal quantum dot (QD)-based multicolor excitation light source array designed for high throughput lab-on-a-chip cell screening and imaging. We have demonstrated preliminary measurements of fluorescence excitation that is suitable for the arrayed fluorescence immunoassay. Our low-cost light source array is highly compatible with commercially available fluorescence microscopes and fluorescent markers commonly used for biomedical imaging and screening.
