Abstract

Solid-state cavity-QED in single quantum dot–2D photonic crystal (PC) nanocavity coupled systems are discussed, including spontaneous two photon emission and lasing oscillation in the strong coupling regime. Realization of high quality 3D PC nanocavities are also addressed
