Highly confined surface plasmon polariton modes guided by triangular (V-shape) metal/dielectric grooves at 1550nm

Abstract

Novel types of plasmonic waveguides based on hybrid metal/dielectric grooves have been proposed. It is shown that they could support highly confined plasmonic modes in a V-shape channel region with moderate propagation length.
