Abstract

Three-photon absorption of several semiconductors (ZnS, ZnSe, ZnO, CdS ZnTe CdSe, CdTe, GaAs, InAs) was measured using Z-scans. Comparisons to existing analytical formulas produced inconsistencies while good fits are obtained using a Kane 4-band model.
