Coherent control of long range Rydberg molecules

Abstract

Molecular spectra of ultralong-range Rydberg molecules are compared to theoretical models. Coherent superposition states between free and bound states are studied by an echo and Ramsey methods. Coherence times in the microsecond regime are found.
