Abstract

We develop a Fabry-Perot etalon to select high-frequency parts of repetition frequency modes of a short pulsed, mode-locked fiber laser. The repetition-modified laser is transmitted to a Michelson-type interferometer. Experimental result shows that the modified optical pulses generated the interference fringe signal between two pairs of pulse trains with different relative delays.
