New Aspects of Nanocrystal Lasing

Abstract

In this talk, I will review our recent spectroscopic studies of specially engineered core-shell nanocrystals that exhibit a significant suppression of Auger recombination. This property greatly simplifies real-life applications of colloidal nanoparticles in lasing technologies.
