Manipulating Polar Molecules: Traps, Synchrotrons and Chips

Abstract

The motion of polar molecules in a beam can be manipulated with electric fields. Decelerated beams of molecules can be loaded in traps or storage rings, and manipulation of molecules on a chip is demonstrated.
