Preparing Squeezed States for Gravitational Wave Detectors

Abstract

This contribution reports the generation of a broadband squeezed field for Fourier frequencies down to 1 Hz. Such fields will be used to improve the sensitivities of future gravitational wave detectors beyond their quantum noise limits.
