Entanglement Propagation in Photon Pairs created by Spontaneous Parametric Down-Conversion

Abstract

We experimentally observe the apparent loss and recovery of spatial entanglement during the propagation of photon pairs created in SPDC and understand it as a migration of the entanglement from the intensity to the phase.
