Combined action of Stimulated Raman Scattering and Four-Wave Mixing in WDM two-core fiber systems

Abstract

We present a propagation model that describes the coupling of WDM channels in two-core fibers. We show how the power penalties and the Raman induced power tilt are modified by the combined action of nonlinearities.
