Simultaneous existence of the zero- n ¯ and zero-ϕeff gaps in metamaterial-polaritonic photonic superlattices

Abstract

We have found the possibility to have the simultaneous existence of the zero-n¯ and zero-ϕeff gaps in photonic superlattices composed by alternating layers of negative refractive index metamaterial and polaritonic material.
