Abstract

The quantum Rabi model is integrable due to a discrete (parity) symmetry. Qualitative aspects of its spectrum and dynamics are inferred from the analytical solution. The same mathematical technique can be applied to non-integrable generalizations with an arbitrary number of qubits.
