Direct femtosecond laser writing of patterns in silver nanoparticle system embedded in silica using nonlinear microscopy

Abstract

We study the induction and characterization of structural modifications of composites containing elongated silver nanoparticles embedded in silica, using laser scanning nonlinear optical microscopy. Both the writing process and characterization are presented and discussed.
