Second Harmonic Light Scattering from Symmetric and Asymmetric Dipole Nanoantennas

Open Access Open Access

We investigate second-harmonic scattering from symmetric and asymmetric metallic dipole nanoantennas with very small gaps. We clarify the role of field enhancement, antenna modes and symmetry on intensity and direction of the radiated second-harmonic light.
