Shift of Zero-Dispersion Wavelength and High-order Dispersion due to Bending in Dispersion-Shifted Fibers

Abstract

We have measured the shift of the zero-dispersion wavelength and high-order dispersion due to bending in 20 m of dispersion-shifted fiber, by means of the four wave mixing generated by an incoherent pump and a coherent source.
