Simulation of a silicon photonics C-band and L-band OFDM demultiplexer

Abstract

We report a compact filter spanning the C and L bands for demultiplexing an OFDM signal using the fast Fourier transform with 4 subcarriers with frequency separation of 25 GHz. The device is designed in a silicon photonics platform using compact 2×2 directional couplers.
