Abstract

The scattering field generated by the coherent illumination on a three-dimensional slit-shape curve is described through the trihedral reference system of Frenet. The projected curves on the three orthogonal planes carries on the information of the curvature and torsion by generating singular regions and bifurcation effects in the scattered fields.
