Stabilized Mode-locked Diode Lasers & Applications

Abstract

Stabilized ultrafast mode-locked lasers are developed to generate ultralow noise optical frequency combs and pulse trains. The resulting pulses and associated frequency combs are then used for a variety of optical signal processing functions, such as optical sampling and waveform generation.
