Digital Filtering Algorithms for 112Gb/s Dual Polarization QPSK Optical Systems with Coherent Detection

Abstract

We present a set of digital algorithms for Dual-Polarization Quadriphase Shift Keying (DP-QPSK) transmission impairments compensation. Chromatic dispersion, polarization mode dispersion and phase estimation algorithms are presented and tested at 112Gb/s enabling total signal recovery.
