Abstract

We report on the production of narrow-size gold-nanoparticles through laser-ablation, using a Nd:YAG laser delivering 200ns pulses. Our approach emerges as a low-cost alternative to chemical-methods and to femtosecond-laser ablation in the green-synthesis of metallic-nanoparticles.
