Distributed Feedback Interband Cascade Lasers and their Spectroscopic Applications in Gas Sensing

Abstract

Application-grade distributed feedback Interband Cascade Laser devices operating at specific, industrially relevant, wavelengths between 3 and 6 μm are presented. Continuous wave operation up to 80°C with tuning ranges above 20 nm was achieved.
