Recent Advances in High-energy, Extended-duration Burst-mode Laser Technology for High-speed Applications in Turbulent Flows

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

Burst-mode pulse energies exceeding 1 Joule at 10 kHz along with 100-millisecond tailored burst profiles (1,000–10,000 pulses) are produced using temporally adjustable oscillator and amplifier technology enabling high-fidelity measurements and analyses in turbulent flows.
