Abstract

Gas-phase temperatures in low pressure premixed hydrogen/oxygen/hexamethyldisiloxane (HMDSO) flames and SiO concentrations were measured by laser-induced fluorescence imaging. Experimental and simulated excitation spectra of SiO as an intermediate species were compared.
