Miniaturized fiber-coupled trace gas sensors based on photoacoustic spectroscopy

Abstract

Fiber coupled trace gas sensors are presented, which operate with photoacoustic excitation using silicon micro tuning forks as sensitive elements. A detection limit of S = (2.13 ±0.02) ppm (1σ) is achieved for ozone.
