New Advances in Generation of High Repetition Rate Burst Mode Laser Output

Abstract

We demonstrate the ability to generate bursts of high energy pulses from a custom Nd:YAG laser system. Output energy as high as 400 mJ/pulse for a twenty pulse sequence at 20 KHz is reported.
