Abstract
In this paper, we propose a method for improved reconstruction of 3D object occluded partially by the unknown occlusion using computational integral imaging. In the reconstruction of partially occluded 3D object, the unknown occlusion makes the resolution of reconstructed images degraded seriously because of hiding the 3D object to be recognized. Therefore, the proposed method introduces a way to eliminate the unknown occlusion in elemental image array and to reconstruct 3D images computationally. To verify the usefulness of the proposed method, some experimental results are carried out and the results are presented.
