High temperature water vapor measured with VCSEL near 940 nm

Abstract

Vertical-cavity surface-emitting lasers were used to detect high-temperature water vapor in a heated absorption cell. Temperature dependent optical densities were obtained at high temperature for several absorption transitions near 940 nm.
