Abstract
Since the first measurements of single molecule fluorescence decay times in flowing sample streams [1] several groups have improved the ability to distinguish between differently labeled single molecules due to their characteristic fluorescence decay times using time-correlated single-photon counting (TCSPC) [2,3].
