755 nm Alexandrite Laser On-peak Pumped by a Frequency Doubled Raman Laser at 589 nm

Abstract

A 755 nm Alexandrite laser employing on-peak pumping at 589 nm is reported. A maximum average power is up to 2.51 W with a beam quality factor (M2) better than 1.25.
