Pathways to Reducing Jitter in Q-Switched and Cavity-Dumped 2 µm Lasers

Not Accessible

Abstract

Q-switched and cavity-dumped 2 µm lasers suffer from fluctuations in build-up time and other parameters on a pulse-to-pulse basis. This jitter has been characterised and will be presented along with progress made towards its reduction.
