Abstract

Metallic nanoparticles exhibiting distinctive localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) have been widely employed for photoelectrochemical (PEC) water splitting, due to their remarkable optical scattering as well as near-field nanofocusing of light, which efficiently enhance the photoactivity of semiconductors [1].
