Femtosecond pulses from oscillators characterization based on transient-grating self-referenced spectral interferometry

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

We adapt the Self-referenced spectral interferometry technique to weak pulse characterization based on the transient-grating effect. Pulses of 84 MHz repetition rate from an oscillator with 0.48 nJ energy per pulse are successfully characterized.
