Abstract

Quantitative analysis is an important application of terahertz technology. The common Least-Square (LS) and partial least-squares regression methods have their accuracy limitation in quantitative analysis. Our study presents a genetic algorithm (GA) used on quantitative analyzing of three-components amino acids samples by THz absorption spectra, which is with artificial intelligence and advantage on global optimization. The influences of crossover and mutation probability on the results accuracy, time consuming, the stability and convergence of the algorithm are discussed.
