Abstract

We proposed a new signal qualification method SAM2TJ for high density optical disc. We took the similar approach of MLSE[1] kwon for the good correlation with bER of Blu-ray discs, and optimized for over 30GB high density Blu-ray disc with the adaptive PRML detection system.
